Your gift helps bring hands-on art, science, and creativity classes directly to local schools, where curiosity catches fire. While public school arts education has become more common in the last few decades, many elementary school students—arguably the most wildly creative people on the planet—receive just 45 minutes of art per week. Meanwhile, out-of-school enrichment opportunities remain scarce or cost-prohibitive, especially in low-income communities. A recent Crayola study found that 92% of children ages 6-12 reported increased confidence through creative expression. Yet, there is a persistent equity gap: children from high-income families are far more likely to participate in after-school programs than their lower-income peers—a 30-point difference in some studies. In New Jersey alone, over 650,000 children would enroll in after-school programming if it were accessible. We are aiming to close that gap, one child at a time.
